PROJECTION SURFACES

The audiovisual contents are designed to be projected on the cube's faces. The cube is the main element of the scenography and will change its aspect depending on how the actors use it. Sometimes it is hanged up as a giant cinema screen, at other times it is a magic box which contains people, objects or sounds.

The cube has two "wings" that can be opened or closed by the actors. This allows us to have three front faces that we can use as projection screens, transparent elements or a shadow play screen. The three faces are therefore covered with a very light textile, and on the inside, hidden by the cube's structure, they host a rollable projection fabric that can be unfolded if necessary.

WINGS

The structure of the cube is designed to be light and easily dismountable. Therefore, the structure will be made of aluminium and the joints will be solid but simple, provided with a fast assembly system. Moreover, all the structural elements are designed to remain completely hidden behind the fabric faces.

JOINTS

We need the space of the stage to be as flexible and changeable as possible; for this reason the cube is provided with wheels in every corner. The actors will be able to interact with the scenography, by rotating and moving it according to the dramaturgy.

WHEELS

The wings are attached to the cube's structure with a system of hinges and locks that allow them to rotate if necessary. This will lend to the cube many different aspects and configu-rations, multiplying the possibilities of the scenography.Depending on these configurations, perspectives, projections and space will change.
