In the last years I've been working as a producer for Abstract Groove, a communication agency based in Milan. My task is to deal with the full realization of creative projects, commercials, television production and music videos.

abstract:groove is an integrated creative, production and design studio founded by filmmaker and creative director Luigi Pane and executive producer Giada Risso. The studio, based in Milan, Italy, mainly works on developing uncommon audio-visual projects in communication and advertising.

PIERMARIO SALERNO - director

 

Piermario Salerno is a theatrical actor, director, playwright, and pedagogue. He received 

his first degree in Performing Arts at the University of Bologna and continued his studies at The Superior School of Dramatic Art of Barcelona, specializing in Physical, Gestural and Visual Theatre. In recent years he has performed in many theaters and festivals, worked in various projects as actor and director, among which stands out AMOR, currently active. The main interest and research of Piermario is to understand the specificities and the work area of different arts, thus finding the way to unify them through theatre. In this project he pursues a multidisciplinary approach by the cooperation of various kinds of arts, managing the direction and the overview of the entire production.

DANIEL PARDO CALVO - art director

 

Daniel Pardo Calvo is an architect and designer. He received his BA Arch. from CEU University of Madrid and his MA Arch. from the University of Seville; during his studies he took part in many workshops all around Europe. He has worked for several architectural firms in Madrid. Daniel is particulary interested in material systems and manufacturing, and he seeks to explore the relationship between composition and technology; his research has been developed through self-build experiences which improved his skills and practice. At the same time, Daniel has explored different art languages, such as painting and poetry, aiming to integrate his artistic experience with the architectural one. This line of research perfectly fits the purpose of our theatre experiment, in which we pursue the total integration between different art fields (architecture, theatre, television, music etc.). Together with Bianca Maria Teti, he manages scenography and costume design, focusing on materiality and technology.

FRANCISCO JAVIER OLIVA - author

 

Francisco J Oliva is a Gibraltarian author and professional writer with over 30 years experience in the world of print journalism in Gibraltar, Spain and UK.The play 'You Have The Right To Remain Silent,' is his fifth literary work. He previously published 'The Frontiers of Doubt' a critique of Gibraltarian nationalism (2004, Editorial Acenta), and the works of fiction 'The Night Gibraltar Disappeared and Other Stories' (2008, Editorial Acenta), and two volumes of poetry 'Imaginary Death of a European Poet' & 'Poemario Gris Dorado 2009-2012,' (2012, Gibraltar Ministry for Culture), the latter in the Spanish language. He is currently working on two other literary projects.

BIANCA MARIA TETI - art director

 

Bianca Maria Teti is an architect, urbanist and designer. She graduated with an MA Arch. 

from the Polytechnic University of Milan, and has been living in Italy and Spain. Bianca Maria has worked for Italian and Spanish architectural firms, and has participated in  several international workshops during the last five years. Her primary research is focused on the multi-scale potential of architecture, and specifically on the social role that the configuration of space plays at every scale, from the individual building to the city. She is now implementing her research by investigating the conditioning of human psyche through the manipulation of space;  with this in mind, the theatre world is the perfect field of exploration. In this production, Bianca Maria carries out the art direction; together with Daniel Pardo Calvo, she manages the spatial development of the dramaturgy and runs the scenography and costumes design from the concept to the production.
